“We live in the 21st century, damn it. There are flying drones, vertical forests, and the Cloud. Eco-friendly is not a niche, it’s our lifestyle.”
Millennial Approach to Luxury →
Older generations used to leverage their wealth for status. By owning something of value, that meant you were somebody. Today, our perspective of value has changed dramatically. “New” does not automatically mean it has the best value. Whereas previous generations saw the value in getting brand new items and pure-bred pets, Millennials wanted to reuse and rescue.

Finally opened up shop.
Before I started college, my grandfather always advised me to use my talent for drawing and pay attention to trends, holidays, or what the general populace cared about that season, because someone somewhere will always want a shirt of it.
As a teen I always hated trends, but with the necessity of the field and a kinder heart these trends are just the waves of entertainment we humor each other with as a society.
Let’s have fun with it.
I’m making shirts and signs of anything I find funny. There will be times when, like this shirt on the right (click to view), I’ll adapt one of my illustrations for apparel. Not sure what I’ll do more of, depends on whether you guys like the art or the memes.

VoyageMIA recently sent over a questionnaire to Fantasea Media and they had me write a bit about the owner and the beginnings of the company I work with.

Behind the Strings
I once read somewhere, "If you can't explain it to your peers, write it for children."
I'm plagued by constant existential thoughts. Even when I was a child, but I had less vocabulary to describe the concepts running through my head. If I could spare a child of those anxious years, I would. So I'm trying.
I'm currently writing my first book entitled 'Strings.' It seeks to describe all the fundamental forces of nature, using the literal strings of puppets to explain the basics of the string theory in rudimentary terms. I am not a scientist, I am not a philosopher. But the more I give myself to this story, the more I seem to be learning. I invite you to learn with me as I introduce you to the characters I wish I knew when I was young.
Video interview with Angie Varona | Miami Montage
Here's an interview I did during my time at Miami Montage, the Peace Sullivan/James Ansin Journalism and New Media Workshop, hosted by University of Miami. In 2011, the theme for Miami Montage was Social Media: the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. In addition to publishing a newspaper, I also produced a video of my interview with Angie Varona and her father.
My story covered the experience of a girl in Miami whose private photos were leaked online and overnight turned into one of the most recognized sex symbols on the internet. My story gained the attention of ABC News, Good Morning America, the Anderson Cooper show, pretty much everyone started talking about it. I was pretty excited when this happened, because I was just starting my path in journalism. When Fox News 11 in California took parts of my video and gave no credit to myself or the Miami Montage program, the director of Miami Montage—Mupalia Wakhisi—issued the statement below:
